Road Trip!

My side of the family decided to spend Thanksgiving break at Knott's Berry Farm in southern California. Normally that would be too far a distance for us to travel in such a short amount of time, but this year our kids' school gave them the whole week off (combo of staff development days and Thanksgiving holiday). With that much time to work with we decided to take a road trip! Our kids are really good road trippers (we drive a lot to see my side of the family) so that makes the decision to go that much easier. We left the Saturday afternoon before Thanksgiving and headed to San Diego to meet up with one sister and her family for a couple days. Then we spent Thanksgiving and the next day and a half in Anaheim with the rest of the family. It was great to see so much family (6 siblings and their families and of course Grandma and Papa!). Our kids haven't seen some of their cousins for a long time! It made the 16 hour trip (one way) definitely worth it. It might take a few days, but I'll try to get caught up with pictures of the trip!
