Tyson's Birthday Weekend

Tyson's actual birthday wasn't until Sunday but the fun started on the Friday before. Aunt Jill came over and brought her gifts for Tyson and gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Pierce. Then Saturday, we did many things Tyson wanted to do. We had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, played at the park and went to Red Robin for dinner. We were lucky to have warm weather for playing outside. I remember last year it snowed on Tyson's birthday, so this year was the complete opposite. After church on Sunday (and a second round of pancakes for breakfast), Tyson opened our family gifts and we had cake and ice cream. And as if that wasn't enough, a package from Grandma and Papa McCune arrived today (Monday), so Tyson had more birthday gifts to open. I think this is the longest birthday weekend anyone in our family has ever had. Happy birthday Tyson!

Tyson with his Cars scooter. I'll have to get a picture of him riding the scooter another day. He haven't quite mastered the motion of riding it yet!

Tyson was so quick blowing out the candles I missed getting a picture. Earl relit the candles so Tyson got to do it twice.

What cute kids!

What a lucky boy to have your birthday last for the whole weekend. It was fun watching you open your gifts on Friday, glad you loved them all.
