It's that time of year again when the kids run circles around the school, eat popsicles, and raise money. Another Fun Run Friday. Of course, running is considered a great sport in our house, so Earl was excited and the kids had their goals. Each year Allison has run one lap more than the previous year. Last year she ran 7 laps, so her goal this year was 8. Unfortunately, Earl was late to Allison's run so she lacked the focus early on. She walked a few times with her friends before Earl arrived about half way through. So she didn't reach her goal of 8, but she still managed 7 laps despite the walking. I guess that means her running has improved since last year. Ethan reached his goal of 6 laps, although he is never as excited about this event as Allison. In the end, all the kids get popsicles and the school gets money so I guess everyone wins! And the exercise is good too...
Although Allison didn't reach her goal, she still ran more than 2 miles. Nice job! And that is Earl in the red. He decided to shave his head the day before-maybe to reduce the wind resistance. Just kidding, he's not that die hard.

Looks like fun!! Tell Earl that running in a speedo would help with the whole wind thing too....haha. We are liking the new hair do!
