This past Saturday our kids participated in a Fun Run. Since Earl is a running guy and would love for our kids to be runners, when a friend emailed us about it I knew we had to sign up. Anyway, it's a fundraiser for the Kawanis Club in Wilsonville. The kids were divided by grade and gender and ran around a marked path. Ethan ran 1,000 meters, which is over half a mile and Allison ran twice that. All the kids got medals and t-shirts, but I think Earl had the most fun. He ran with both of our kids, but also with about 5 other kids we knew who were in different heats whose parents weren't running. Earl had also done his Saturday run that morning, so this was quite a day of exercise for him. The event also had inflatable slides, water activities, and face painting so our kids had a great time and got worn out. Tyson took a great nap that afternoon!
