A Sad Duck

Ethan has taken a deep interest in football this year. It probably started with our own Sherwood Bowmen football team winning the state championship. Ethan and Earl went to several games together, including the state final. Then Ethan declared he was a duck, as in a University of Oregon Duck. He watched all kinds of college football games and watched Oregon rise in the rankings when he read the Monday sports page each week. Oregon made it all the way to the BCS Championship game and Ethan was so excited to watch. He wore his U of O shirt and matching slippers to our friends house to watch the game. It was soooooo close, but Oregon lost by a field goal. It will be interesting to see how loyal a duck fan Ethan is when the season rolls around next year. If OSU dominates will he be a beaver? Now we switch to pro football. Ethan hasn't latched onto one particular team, but he is predicting New England will win the Super Bowl....
