Today was Allison's last day of school. She had a great year in first grade and is looking forward to second grade. Ethan will be joining her at school this fall when he's in kindergarten. Allison has become a good reader and writer. She enjoys reading independently and is often reading in her room while her brothers watch television. She just started piano and had her second lesson today. Her teacher says she is doing very well. This is what she is excited for during the summer. We will take a break from ballet until the fall and have one round of swim lessons at some point in the summer. Other than that Allison is looking forward to learning how to play the piano. Sorry no pictures. Allison opted not to have her picture taken today with her first grade teacher, Ms. Schieno. I'll try to be better with pictures this summer. Actually, I'll post one of Allison riding her bike. This is her favorite thing to do outside right now. She learned to ride a two wheeler earlier this year. We will be doing a lot of bike riding this summer.
